In English · Hvidovre and surroundings

Demands from above. Expectations from below. You in the middle.

If you are a middle manager or team leader in Hvidovre, you know the squeeze. Management wants results, your team wants a boss who stands up for them, and there are few people you can tell the whole story to. Sessions can be held in English.

This site describes online sessions with the psychologist Frank for middle managers in Hvidovre. The sessions are offered by Djursland-psykologen, so this is not an independent practice.

Evening sessions online. Fixed time. Same psychologist.

What it covers

What middle managers bring

  • Cross-pressure: how you cope when two sides pull at you, and what it does to your sleep.
  • Loyalty: where being loyal to management ends and letting your team down begins.
  • Difficult people matters: a place to think it through before you walk in.
  • Your own limits: noticing what you can do, and saying what you will not.

These are psychology sessions, not management consulting. You do not need a prepared agenda.

The set-up

Plain and practical

The sessions are held in English or Danish, as you prefer, and take place online from wherever you are in Hvidovre, so there is no travelling. Sessions in person in Mørke on Djursland are also possible, in English as well. There is a fixed weekly evening and you meet the same psychologist throughout.

Capacity is limited and there is typically a waiting list, so no start date can be promised. Signing up is non-binding and is done on the main site, which is in Danish.

Quick answers

Questions and answers

Is this HR advice or coaching?

No. These are conversations with an authorised psychologist, and you are the focus. They are neither legal advice nor HR advice, and they do not replace the procedures at your workplace.

What happens to what I say about my workplace?

It stays between you and the psychologist. The sessions are covered by professional confidentiality under the Danish Psychologists Act, and your employer is not informed. You do not need to give your employer's name when you sign up.

Will my GP be told?

No. Neither your GP, the municipality, your partner nor your workplace is informed. The sessions are private and need no referral.

Can my employer pay?

Yes. Many clients have the invoice paid by their company or employer, and you are free to pay yourself. For the price, see practical information and price on the main site, which is in Danish.

Urgent need? There is a waiting list, so this site is not an emergency service. Contact your GP or the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten) on 1813, and call 112 in an emergency.
